Same here! Last time I saw them headlining, they did 14 songs, and that was in both Montreal and Toronto back in 2017.

That is very much interesting. Although I'm more hooked on Delain's recent material, I might give the former vocalist's material a peek to see how it sounds.

Last night's show in Toronto was awesome, just like the last time I saw them a couple of months ago when they opened for Kamelot. They didn't have a set list with them, and I did arrive early to see their tour bus arrive. Though because of the cold weather, I had to go off to use the washroom and I ended up missing Ambre coming out from the tour bus. Oh well, I at least got to do that last time they came around with Kamelot. (They were sharing the same bus as Battle Beast.)

I'd say that Delain returning is most likely to happen. You never know though, anything is possible.

It is! 🙂 The single, "Universal", is set to be released on April 16, in a few days time. I imagine by then we will all hear at the same time news about their upcoming album around the single's release. They are currently touring with Wind Rose, so it'll be fun and interesting to hear the song performed for a glimpse into the album. And hopefully I will be able to get a tour shirt, because when I last saw them opening for Kamelot, they didn't have any shirts with them.

Mikko is a damn good mixing and mastering engineer. I look forward to hearing how the new album sounds with all of the double mastering he is doing at the moment. Well, when Delain returns to North America (if it happens this year), I will have to ask him how the album sounded.

I will say this: I was very surprised to find this out about Ewo. When I met him back in March 2018 at the Toronto show during the Decades tour, me and him spoke for a bit and he even gave me one of Emppu's guitar picks. That's pretty much all that I can remember from meeting him.

Looks like Nightwish is still sticking around with their label Nuclear Blast for a little longer than expected, and it is even their 20th anniversary with them since they signed with them back in 2004 around the time Once came around.

This May, I will be going to see Blind Guardian in concert. I have never seen them in concert, and now I will have the opportunity to see them perform live, just like I saw Avantasia back in 2016. One of my favorite songs from Blind Guardian, off from their album Nightfall in Middle-Earth:

Oh no doubtingly that I enjoy "Masters of Destiny"! I also enjoyed "Vengeance" which features Yannis Papadopoulos as well as "Ghost House Heart". For some reason, I tried to like the rest of the album, but just couldn't get into it. Oh well. 🤷‍♂️ I didn't know that Ludo did all of the shirt designs! That's awesome!

If you had to rank the studio albums of Delain by most to least favorite, what would they be? Here is my ranking of most to least favorite Delain albums: Dark Waters April Rain Moonbathers The Human Contradiction We Are The Others Lucidity Apocalypse & Chill I think it is safe to say that Dark Waters was easily the best album in my opinion. 😁

Hopefully a tour! It'd be cool to see Kai and Tuomas performing again!

Wow, some fans are really impatient when it comes to having to wait for the new material! I am impatient to hear the new album as well or see Nightwish tour again, but I don't go and hassle the mastering person and make demands for albums to sounds like "this" or "that". When the band says it's ready, then it will be ready. Anyways, that's the end of my short rant. Still, the album is going to take a little longer to come out because of the vinyl pressings, so in the end - it is still estimated to be a summer to fall release for the album.

It almost reminds me of the comments I'd see on a band who have had changed their lineup, for example, I'd be seeing comments on Kiss going "It's not Kiss without Ace or Peter!" or Journey not being Journey without Steve Perry. I did notice a few Tarja fans doing that! They would be begging for Tarja to come back, and I already know that is never going to happen, as it has been almost 20 years since she was fired and even she has stated that she will not be rejoining Nightwish and that she does not pay attention to Nightwish anymore. I agree wholeheartedly. Next album that comes out (which is in the works based on the picture of the band at Rosko Campsite in Finland) will definitely bring out more of Diana's talents. I too am also enjoying the new material and stage presence, as I do consider Dark Waters one of Delain's best albums they have put out. I'll definitely have to rank my Delain albums from most favorite to least favorite at some point.

Looks like new material from Xandria is going to be on the horizon sometime soon, as the band are currently recording vocals. Though I wonder what the big announcement is? A headlining North American tour? Another European tour?

Hopefully Wintersun will go touring again! It'd be nice to see Kai performing again.

Looks like mixing is done, and that mastering is already on the way according to Finnvox's Mika Jussila himself.

Anette's work with The Dark Element is fantastic, and I own both of those albums. I honestly wish I could see Anette in concert again, as I did back in September 2012, but the chances of that happening are extremely low.

I'm still waiting as well for them to return to Toronto next tour. Hell, I'm making plans save up money and travel to other cities on their tour if they return. Along with that, I'm reading comments on Delain videos, and I am honestly still surprised that there are former fans who still go on how Charlotte is a better vocalist. When I saw some of the comments, I was thinking "What? It is all past, so why are they still not able to move on?"
