Lumgol

Hello! I came across this place after @mabla linked it in one of the Discords. I really like smaller communities. (Although the best of both worlds, to me, is a small, tight-knit discord server.) I discovered NW several months ago. My first few songs of theirs were Élan, Alpenglow, and The Islander. I'm still relatively new to the metal genre in general. I also like electronic and electro-pop music, Celtic and similar-sounding folk music, orchestral/cinematic type music, and some random bands that don't really fit in any of these genres. The metal bands that I like so far (in addition to NW) are Eluveitie, Cellar Darling, Epica, Blackbriar, and Hammerfall. Fun fact: I was led to NW through Auri, which I found and fell in love with first 😄

Hi! Harvest is a song on H :||: N that people seem to either love or... not really like as much. What do you think of its folky vibes, Troy's voice, the lyrical theme, ... ? Personally, I love Harvest. It's catchy, very suitable for a campfire singing session, calming, and gives a break from the heavy and oft-changing material of the rest of the album. Troy's voice isn't my favorite, but it's suited to a mellow, wholesome song such as Harvest. I also come from a folkier music taste background 🙂 Thoughts?

I really love Suite Clarity's reactions - they're super genuine, and the band members are clearly having so much fun and synergy together.
