    Beside that, I enjoy the "Floor finds" episodes. In the one with Marko it seem obvious to me that they can get along well with each other.

    2012-13 Imaginaerum World Tour

    Anyway, imagine the scene. Austin, October 2012, Nightwish just fired Anette and they have been touring with this new singer for about 10 days now. Ghost Love Score hasn't been played live for some 3 years. Not even once during the Imaginaerum tour. Tuomas gives the thumbs up, and this song fires up, totally unexpectedly. Crowd goes crazy in a fraction of a second. Listen to them! There are a couple of videos with this first performance of Ghost Love Score with Floor, but this is the only one I've seen recording the crowd reaction. Must have been so amazing!
     
     
    There are better quality videos out there of this performance, but the crowd reaction is priceless 🙂

    Century Child (2002)

    This was beside Oceanborn the only Nightwish album I owned (I assume from the release in 2002, because I have seen Nightwish live in 2004 at the Dynamo and was then a bit disappointed Nightwish only played 3 songs from Century Child ........ 🥴 = of course logic when you promote Once 😁) and the only nightwish album I really listened till Floor joined Nightwish...... and I loved this album. Especially the first 5 songs are amazing and I listened them countless times. I listened less often to the other tunes in my memory lane cause I probably repeated the first 5 songs endlessly.

    I rate this album with  a 8.5 as a whole = round up to a 9 in the rating above.

    Oceanborn (1998)

    Reason why I bougth Oceonborn were the all over positive reviews in the magazines . I don't know why but Oceanborn didn't hit me in the heart. My expectations were too high probably. Till today this is not changed. I prefer other Nightwish albums.

    Big Nightwish fan since mid-2015, I was pretty much sucked in by listening to Showtime Storytime vids on Youtube. I do remember listening to Walking In The Air earlier on (2012) and wondering who those guys were, but it took some time before I came back to the band. My previous metal-ish interests were Lacuna Coil, Evanescence (I know, soft stuff) and Dream Theater. I have always been a progressive rock fan, but leaning more into heavier stuff as time goes by.

    I decided to launch this forum because I'm old fashioned and I love forums. I haven't been a member of Nightwish Online for very long before it went dark, but I loved the place as much as anyone else and spent way too much time going through the tons of archives there. I was devastated to see it go away, and I still cling on the hope that it can be brought back. But in the mean time, as much as I'm happy that there's a vibrant Discord community (or two) available, I gave it a try but it's not my style. Too difficult to go back and reread old conversations, it's just all too hectic for an old forty-something like me. 😁

    So yeah, this is a new forum for those who like the slower pace and community spirit. I have no links to the band, and I'm paying this from my own pocket. Feel free to ask any questions you have, and I may write up a forum FAQ if the forum gains traction.

    You showed some nice tour posters from Montreal concerts in the "Nightwish Fandom and Collectibles" area;  Have you seen Nightwish live then in these or other years? Can't find it in the Forum... I'm just curious ....  🙃

    Only the real deal 🤘

    The whole experience is what it makes impossible to replace a live concert by virtual streaming for me. This includes the tension for getting and having the tickets, the travel trip to the concert, finding the venue, excitement while waiting (in the rain) before entering, passing the search, too much people in the lobby while storing jackets, go for a toilet, checking merchandise stand, buying drinks, seeing a support act, jut have basic fun with friends, the moment the lights go down, putting in earplugs, feeling the energy in the crowd and from the band, the sound level, your legs vibrating by the double bass kicks, short of eyes to see it all happening, and the satisfied feeling and hoarse voice when you go home after an amazing concert. + of course the hindside fun years after certain legendary concerts (can you remember... e.g. I've seen Pantera during the Vulgair Display of Power tour in Paradiso Amsterdam, we still talk about that concert .... )  

    No way virtual can replace this. For me virtual feels like a DVD experience.

    I hope we are released soon ...
