  10. You were absolutely correct! My the most humblest apologies, I'll correct that right away. So your points will be 3,83 points! Yay! 😊
  11. Haha!! 😁 This quiz was extra bitchy... Like its creator πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜†
  12. Here cometh the answers: Hope you had fun! This quiz was extra hard. Next quiz on next Friday!
  13. Yeah this was hard! I give you 2,83/10. I took some of the questions from somewhere here 😈
  14. Ok! It seems that you're doing ok despite the situation? We had before Christmas a long while when all the gyms, swimming halls, bars etc were opened normally (or almost), but now many gyms etc are closed and the bars have to close at 5p.m. if I'm not horribly wrong... But yeah, whatcha gonna do. We all just have to sit tight and binge watch series or movies or do what ever. I'm pretty damn lucky that I'm able to go to the gym every day and I'm pretty damn grateful.
  15. You got a freaking curfew there??!! I'm so sorry, that must've been hard... In Finland a curfew is against our constitution. 😦 But anyway, high five bro, I spent my last New Year's the same way as well. πŸ˜…
  16. It's been officially 2022 almost for an hour in Finland! I hope you're having a safe blast where ever and how ever you are celebrating New Year's, in my case, I was at the gym and after that watching Netflix for whole evening. But it was actually quite nice, I didn't have to worry about getting omicron. πŸ˜„
  17. Here we go once again, this will be the last ride of the year! 1. When is Marco's anniversary? 2. Mention Jukka Koskinen's three former bands. 3. At what age Emppu got interested in playing guitar? 4. What is Anette's whole name? 5. What is Kai's hometown? 6. When did Anette found out that she'll be the next vocalist for Nightwish? (month and a year) 7. When Nightwish let the audience know who is their new vocalist on their website? 8. When is Jukka Koskinen's anniversary? 9. When was Oceanborn released in Finland? 10. When Floor did her first solo show? There you guys have it. Gotta say, it's been an amazing year to hang out with other Nightwishers and making this quiz. It's a shame that some of us live so far away, it would be so nice to hang out in real life and have a drink or two and talk about Nightwish and music in general. πŸ˜„ I hope that this quiz has given you joy and 'what the hell, is that really so??' moments 😁 There will be 5 more quizzes and 50 new questions, then I'll decide if I continue this after a break (gotta make new questions). Happy New Year's from me, your Quizmaster and stay safe folks. πŸŽ†
  18. Haha! I would love to be witnessing that, standing right there with the biggest kittenish smile on my face and looking at the guys' reaction 😁
  19. This made me laugh, you are learning so well already! πŸ˜‚ The heart and soul of Finnish culture are in our expletives. πŸ˜† And yeah there are so many different ways to make some sort of derivative expletives from the original expletives. For example that 'Voe vittulainen' (if it's written grammatically correct, it's 'voi vittulainen', but 'voe vittulainen' works as well) would be 'oh fuckedy fuck'. I think I got to add more expletives and derivative options for them! You can also add 'han' -terminal to 'voi' if you wanna say it with a bit more effectiveness like 'Voihan vittulainen'. But yeah it's a shitshow in Finland with corona, too. It will be a miracle if those shows in Tampere and Helsinki will happen next month. I'm reading an article about omicron variant and these professors are talking about how this variant MIGHT BE THE LAST ONE we have to deal with and this wave might be over by February. They are very cautious with their evaluations still.
  20. I just finished watching The Aftermath and I liked it! I would have loved to see Tarja singing and having a great time with the band instead of standing some sort of virtual platform far away from others. πŸ˜” But yeah, 'The Purge' gave me goosebumbs as always. Now I have to see them live someday!
  21. CAUTION: This post will contain fucking strong language. If you are easily offended by content like this, please go rather check out my cursing free quizzes πŸ˜πŸ˜‚ So once again your favourite band in the whole world had to postpone or even cancel their show you were supposed to go? Corona has gotten out of hands in your country and you have no idea when you'll see Nightwish live next time? You feel more or less fucked up and wonder what the hell I should do now, I'm bored as hell. If only I could curse in Finnish, they have so wide range of different expletives and some of the strongest and the rudest ones would be really suitable for this situation and how I'm feeling right now. Well, I'm doing this for you guys! This is going to be so much fun and probably I'm laughing my ass off while doing this. Let's start! In some of expletives you can add 'voi' in front of them to increase the effectiveness. In this case 'voi' means 'oh' in English. For example 'voi vittu' means 'oh fuck'. Helvetti = literal meaning 'hell'. Strong and powerful expletive. For example you enter your office and everything's messed up, the first thing you might think is 'mitΓ€ helvettiΓ€ tÀÀllΓ€ on tapahtunut?!" which means 'what the hell has happened here?!'. Hemmetti = Damn; mild one, very common. Hitto = very similar as 'hemmetti'. Jumalauta = probably one of the rudest ones, it has no enough strong equivalent in English as Google translator translated it as 'goddamn it'. Literally 'goddamn it' is the closest one, but meaning is way much powerful. For example you're holding something very expensive, and somebody knocks it off of your hand, it drops to the floor and breaks into million little pieces. Then you can yell 'VOI JUMALAUTA!!!' while looking at the person very murderously. The person should shit themself if this is done correctly. Paska = Shit, crap; very common. It is so common that it has almost lost its power as an expletive, but don't use it in a civilized conversation. Perhana = Darn; very similar as 'hemmetti' or 'hitto', but it has a bit more effect in it. It's not quite as common as 'hitto' or 'hemmetti', but not rare though. Perkele = Unfortunately this great expletive has no equivalent in English. This is definitely one of the rudest and powerful ones. In some cases 'perkele' translates as 'the devil'. It has very strong consonants, so this word is great if you want to learn to pronounce them well. Perse = Ass; very common. It is so common that it has almost lost its power as an expletive, but don't use it in a civilized conversation. Saamari, samperi = Very mild expletive, I strongly believe that these are derivatives from 'saatana'. Saatana = literal meaning is 'satan'. Yeah, we use it as a curse word and it's a very good one! One of the strongest expletives, definitely. For example you fuck up something at work and you have to start over again you can mumble under your breath 'voi saatana...!' because you don't want customers to hear you. Vittu = Fuck; my personal favorite and one of the rudest ones among 'helvetti', 'jumalauta', 'perkele' and 'saatana'. You can also combine some expletives together. Vittu saatana works pretty well! If you wanna be even more effective, you can say 'voi vitun vitun vitun vitun vitun vittu' which means 'oh fucking fucking fucking fucking fucking fuck'. You can add as many 'vitun' in front of 'vittu' as you need. Grammatically 'vitun' is a genetive of 'vittu'. This was quite entertaining to do. I hope you had fun and maybe learned something new 🀣
  22. It's more than ok if you feel like that. When I started to do the quiz my goals were just to have fun and maybe talk a little bit about the questions with new interesting people all over the world. Also if my quiz has brought even a tiny glimpse of joy to someone on these awful times during the pandemic, I'm definitely doing something right. It's also fun to hear that @Spartanguy83 you have learned new things!
