Well, they have released DVDs for shows from the Endless Forms Most Beautiful and Decades tours, so I don't see why not. 🙂

Just found out that the Toronto show (and it was the first one in the city near where I live) on this tour was sold out. I was in Grade 6 at the time, so I unfortunately did not know them. Looks like tomorrow (where I am in Canada) is the final show on the European festivals leg. I'm really hoping that "Pan" will be performed at the Knotfest show in Turku, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed on that.

New song is here! As predicted, it sounds very Delain-like with powerful symphonic elements, with new growling from Ludovico Cioffi himself. It's almost like jumping back to the Moonbathers era of Delain with elements of Xandria incorporated into the song. Credits on the description state that Eye of Melian's Robin la Joy had involvement on this song, though the band stated in a Facebook group in a comment that the new singer is... So far, no announcement on who it is, so it'll have to wait until the morning. Can't wait to hear how the album comes out in the future, and here's to the hopes for a North American tour.

Found the new song with Floor Jansen on guest vocals, "Misplaced Among the Angels". Holy cow, that is the best I've heard from Avantasia in a long time, as I still haven't heard Moonglow yet.

Someone on Facebook has leaked out who the new vocalist is. For the sake of everyone here and on any other fan page of Delain, I can already see that the band are going to be so angry about that. There's always going to be others who want to ruin the surprise for everyone. I have unfortunately seen the name, but I am not going to say who it is, for the sake of everyone here who is a Delain fan. My lips are completely sealed until the single comes out. 😁

Before I got huge into Epica, I remember playing this song on a frequent repeat in high school which did get me knowing more about the vocalist Simone Simons. At the time, I did own Requiem for the Indifferent on CD.

I guess we'll find out soon enough in the upcoming year. Either way, looking forward to hearing more about the new album as the progress goes.

Well, I can't wait to hear the new singer, and see who it is. The title for the song itself, sounds like it will straight forward power metal with symphonic elements.

If they do tour in North America again next year as they hopefully say, their new album with Ambre will already have come out at that point.

Couldn't get a link, but the new single that comes out on August 9, is titled "The Quest and the Curse". It was performed at the recent warm up shows, but there is no footage of the shows nor any talk of who the new vocalist is.

He confirmed that music and lyrics were worked on in down time, while the pandemic was going on - and confirmed that in the summer next year, the band will be going to record the album. Hopefully it is the same camp again.

The Bucharest show is done, and the setlist is up! Looks like it is a lot shorter than I thought - with "I Want My Tears Back" not being on this show's set this time. The sound is very good on the new song, it definitely gives THOE and Resist vibes to it. I'll have to order my copies of the new editions as I do need to get a better version of "World of Make Believe" for my collection, and I do not have that in the CD I got.

I've been considering getting Discord to join the server "A Walden of Our Own", as I met a few of the members at the Toronto show back in May. I have met a few of the members from the Nightwish Family Facebook group, as I am part of that group. A few of the members from the mentioned show refer to me as "Cake Boy" as I brought a Cupcake cake for the band. 😁
