Next show up is the band's hometown show in Kitee, so it looks like it is going to be a special performance over there! After that is two more shows to wrap up the tour in Vaasa and Oslo. I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that there will be something special for the Kitee show. 🤞

The Nova Rock performance is looking to have the same setlist as the Release Athens show. Though not completely updated, I am assuming that this is the set.

Tomorrow is the first of the last seven shows on the tour. Will there be any setlist changes, or do you think that it'll be the same deal around like the past few legs? Although, to admit, I have a feeling that they will probably do something special for the Kitee show.

Only one more month until the final leg of the tour begins.

As I posted in the Tarja and Marko show thread, Delain will be an opening act for their performance.

Both Delain and Illumishade will be the opening bands for this show.

If I had to know what Nightwish songs would be performed, it'll probably be the same ones that she has performed for a couple of years now, as her last tour which finished in March this year, she only performed "Nemo". So it'll probably be that, "Over the Hills and Far Away", or "Sleeping Sun". I wouldn't be surprised if she and Marko perform at least one song from the Nightwish days together.

From what I gathered from a discussion on one of the Discord groups, the issue may be pointing towards the band's management. I honestly do not remember the interview, but from what I know, Floor wanted to have a release party show for her solo album Paragon, but the management pretty much told her that there were shows already booked for Japan and that it wasn't possible.

A huge reminder that Delain will be touring North America in September this year, with Visions of Atlantis as the opening act.

Nightwish ain't over until they give that orchestral concert when the band performs with an orchestra. But we all know that isn't going to happen.

From what I have gathered on the recording process, Tuomas has said they will be working on it for three months at the Rosko campsite in Kitee like with the previous few albums. So I'm estimating that it begins in July and concludes around September - October?

I respect their decision to not tour for this album cycle, maybe on the next album. It is getting expensive to tour post-Covid. Still, twelve new songs and three music videos - that is something to look forward to.

A shorter setlist than usual, but again it is a festival performance so I think the Tokyo show is expected to have the same set like Osaka. "Shoemaker" looks to have been moved closer to the encore than it was in the main set on previous headlining shows.

Today (which is technically tomorrow), Nightwish will be performing their Asia tour. I'll keep tabs on the sets and update as they go if possible. Their Osaka show starts later in the day, so it is the first one, under the Loud Park festival series in Japan.

The second single for The Awakening came out recently. It gives me Ghost Opera and Silverthorn vibes on this one.
