Tuomas has confirmed that the new album will have orchestra and choirs, and it will be the London Orchestra like the other albums. He went on to say that the recording studios are already booked.

Reading Tuomas' end of November interview, according to him, the Amsterdam shows were recorded but there will be no DVD. 😢 The band will instead release the music from that show at some point, though the idea of recording came two weeks before the shows. With that, "The Phantom of the Opera" performed in Amsterdam was Floor's idea, after the positive reception given at her performance at Beste Zangers.

A new single and music video for the self-titled song on the new album, "The Wonders Still Awaiting", will be released tomorrow. Looking forward to hearing it. I've got my fingers crossed that Delain and Xandria will co-headline North America together next year.

Looks like the shows in Asia have been postponed... again! But fortunately, it isn't due to what was going for the past two years. Floor Jansen has to undergo radiation therapy, which means no shows in Asia for January. However, a statement has been made that the team are working to reschedule the tour dates.

Also, Nightwish are set to perform in Greece for the Release Athens Festival on June 7, 2023. Back in Greece again after a long while. I know a Lithuania fanpage on FB that are getting hopeful that there will be a show in Lithuania in June.

I watched this film back in high school. Really enjoyable experience, though it took a few watches to understand the message the film was telling me.

I've been hearing from an FB group for Within Temptation that one of the two shows (possibly both) in Amsterdam were filmed with cameras present. I'm thinking, there's gonna be a Worlds Collide live DVD and album in the future. 👁️‍🗨️

If a live DVD / CD is announced, I wonder how it will go. Will Disc 1 be Within Temptation's set and Disc 2; Evanescence's set?

This will be the second time Nightwish play at 70000 Tons Of Metal, the first time going back to January 2012 with Anette. Of course since they perform twice during one cruise, these will actually be their third and fourth shows at that festival.

If the cruise wasn't so damn expensive, I would've gone on for it. I've heard so many wonderful experiences that metalheads have had on the cruise, so maybe one day... 🙂

It was a lucky guess, but I am happy that they band are performing in the town where they had formed back in 1996. I'm very certain that with the news of them performing in Kitee, there is a possibility of special guests joining in for the show?

It's been twenty-five years since the release of Angels Fall First. Back then, I would have been at the age of four when the album came out. But I will never forget when I heard the album when I got it along with Century Child for Christmas in 2012, the year I became a huge fan of Nightwish and the same year I got all the studio albums at the time. "Beauty and the Beast" was the first song I heard from the album.

Regardless, it looks like the Latin American leg has concluded with the next continent coming up being Europe in November and December.

Three shows in Japan have been announced for January in both Osaka and Tokyo!

• January 25, Osaka, Namba Hatch
• January 27 and 28, Tokyo, Ex Theater Roppongi

All this just in time for the end of the Latin American leg. Setlist hasn't come up yet.

If you remember back in 2006, Lordi ended up winning the Eurovision Song Contest because of their song "Hard Rock Hallelujah". They dress up like monsters with anonymity just like the rock and roll band Kiss here in North America, as they are Lordi's influence along with Alice Cooper, Motley Crue and W.A.S.P. They were an opening act for Nightwish back in 2004. Even after many lineup changes, they still know how to "bring back the balls to rock".

Looks like the band has announced one more show in Worcester. I hoped it would have been a full North American tour when they sent out these news, but I am hoping if the shows are great, they will come perform here in North America more often.
