Looking forward to see what other shows they have planned next summer. I don't expect a return to North America though, probably only a few Finnish festivals?
With Floor's solo tour in April - May, and the shows in Asia (if it happens), nothing is off the table as I don't expect a return to North America either. There could be some Finnish shows, though I question where the final show of the tour would be? Maybe Kitee or Helsinki?

There's really not a lot of incentive to buy this Tour Edition unless the Blu-ray has better image quality.
They probably will, though I don't plan on getting it as I already have my own copy.

Where is that biography sequel when we need one! 😁
I'd love to see a biography sequel that covers the Dark Passion Play era to the current era.

Ok, instead of Australia a new show has been announced for June 17, 2023 in Vaasa Finland! 👀 I'm not sure if this is before or during their rehearsal/recording camp retreat.
I imagine that it is before, because they did say that they would be recording the new album in July, and the demos have already been made - so who knows? Maybe they will perform a song from the upcoming album for the last few shows of the tour, as the Vaasa show is confirmed as one of the final shows of the tour. 😉
Still keeping my fingers crossed for "Pan" to be performed. 🤞

A great ten years it has been, and I still believe that Tuomas found the right vocalist to fill in for Anette's role. I was quite happy when I found out she became the new vocalist, and everything changed as I would progress into the mega Nightwish fan that I am - not to brag or anything. 😏

I can say that I am lucky to have seen Anette during this tour a few shows before her last on the tour. I wasn't expecting that to happen back then as I was starting to get into the band.

Some new things regarding the tenth album according to Blabbermouth:
- The tenth album is the third part of a trilogy that started with Endless Forms Most Beautiful and will be a follow-up to Human. :II: Nature..
- The album is expected to be released around early 2024.

Looks like the Latin American leg might be having almost all of its shows sold out. 😁 Nightwish are loved by many over in that continent, so here's to hoping all of the shows on that leg become sold out. That would definitely show how far the band has gone from the years they've performed there since the Wishmaster World Tour. 🙂

Another very good song by Xandria. Looks like another album is on its way, with the lineup heading for a bright future!
I've seen and heard of Ralf Scheepers. I saw him with his band Primal Fear back in 2016 when they and Luca Turilli's Rhapsody were touring in North America together. He also starred on an Ayreon song "Journey on the Waves of Time", from the album Flight of the Migrator.

12 songs already written 🤗
Very nice! Wonder if it'll be like with Endless Forms Most Beautiful when there were twelve songs written, and eleven tracks were on the album, with the other, "Sagan", being on one of the singles?

And with new member Jukka Koskinen on bass, they are going full steam ahead. 😁 I'm truly excited to hear new material now.

If there's a DVD made before the end of the tour in 2023, where would you expect it to be filmed? South America for the crazy crowds, Europe for the big production, China for the exoticism? Or Australia, if the rumours of a visit there in 2023 hold true?
If the rumor of an Australian leg actually comes to fruition, I think a DVD from an intimate show there would be amazing. As Europe and South America shows were recorded for the Vehicle of Spirit and Decades Live DVD, I am hoping there will be a show in North America filmed for a DVD. Regarding a show recorded in China for a DVD, I probably wouldn't hold your breath.

As of today, Jukka Koskinen has become an official member and the permanent bassist of Nightwish. He is known for being in Wintersun, alongside Kai Hahto notably. We should expect that he will be play a huge role in the upcoming new Nightwish album's recording next year.
Other than that, a huge welcome to Jukka Koskinen to the Nightwish family! I met him back in May this year, and I had a great feeling about him being in the band.

Unfortunately I couldn't find a single recording from that show on YouTube, but it was (wow) 18 years ago. Did we have Internet back then, lol? Time flies.
We had dial-up internet back in the day. I think at that time, Windows XP was entering the picture. Time definitely does fly by.

I'm also wondering whether there will be a DVD out of this tour.
Well, they have released DVDs for shows from the Endless Forms Most Beautiful and Decades tours, so I don't see why not. 🙂

Just found out that the Toronto show (and it was the first one in the city near where I live) on this tour was sold out. I was in Grade 6 at the time, so I unfortunately did not know them. I wish I did at such a young age, but again, I would have had to be 19 and over to go to that show at the Opera House.

Looks like tomorrow (where I am in Canada) is the final show on the European festivals leg. I'm really hoping that "Pan" will be performed at the Knotfest show in Turku, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed on that.

New song is here!
As predicted, it sounds very Delain-like with powerful symphonic elements, with new growling from Ludovico Cioffi himself. It's almost like jumping back to the Moonbathers era of Delain with elements of Xandria incorporated into the song. Credits on the description state that Eye of Melian's Robin la Joy had involvement on this song, though the band stated in a Facebook group in a comment that the new singer is...

So far, no announcement on who it is, so it'll have to wait until the morning.
Can't wait to hear how the album comes out in the future, and here's to the hopes for a North American tour.

Someone on Facebook has leaked out who the new vocalist is. For the sake of everyone here and on any other fan page of Delain, I can already see that the band are going to be so angry about that. There's always going to be others who want to ruin the surprise for everyone.
I have unfortunately seen the name, but I am not going to say who it is, for the sake of everyone here who is a Delain fan. My lips are completely sealed until the single comes out. 😁

Powerwolf

The German power metal band Powerwolf will be coming to North America in February, although they are only performing in two locations: New York City and Montreal. When I saw they were performing in my continent at last, I got excited and hoped there would be a Toronto show. I see that it is only those two places they are going to, and I am disappointed - as there are so many fans that have been waiting years upon years to see Powerwolf in concert. A friend I know, she was absolutely devastated - as I feel me and her are the only ones among a few others asking the band to come perform close to where we live.
The New York City show is already sold out and the Montreal show is definitely on its way to getting sold out as well.
